Dear Friends, Peoples Movement for Change is a new initiative by Justin Parker and me, Gary Juffa, to muster the support of like minded persons who are concerned about the development of Papua New Guinea. We believe that Papua New Guinea is a great nation with great potential and opportunities for its citizens, the region and the world. We believe that Papua New Guinea is a unique nation containing diverse flora and fauna, cultures and resources and that Papua New Guineans should be proud and able to live in peace and harmony with their environment and each other, engage in the economic development of their nation and interact with the rest of the increasingly globalized world. We do not believe that Papua New Guinea should be a mere source of raw resources to be exploited by dubious interests whether foreign or Papua New Guinean, we do not believe that its complex natural environment should become a victim of rampant profit and greed and inconsiderate human activity but rather it could be developed in a sustainable manner ensuring that future generations have the opportunity to live in this great land. It is said that "when good men do nothing evil prevails". Well, in Papua New Guinea, evil is not merely prevailing but actively campaigning to ensure it is positioned to remain and continue down its destructive path with no concern for the future...We stand up for a better Papua New Guinea, for our future generations...Please see if you support our effort to enact CHANGE in Papua New Guinea.
