It has been reported through Post Courier that very powerful people within the political circle are strategising to remove Peter O'niel when parliament resumes next tuesday (15th May 2012).
But Peter O'neil yesterday said that he was safe and that the motion to remove him could not be entertained as it would be unconstitutional.
The Constitution states that there can be no votes of no confidence 18 months after an election and 18 months before an election, giving an incumbent Prime Minister immunity from being ousted from office by a vote of no confidence.
PM's Media advisor last night on behalf of the PM said the Nation was ready to go to polls on the 18th of May.
