New Entrant into Race for NCD Governor Seat
Former diplomat, Aiwa Olmi has made his intention known to contest this year's national election.Mr Olmi is contesting the National Capital District Seat, challenging the Social Democratic Party Leader Powes Pakop.Mr Olmi is from Chimbu province and has been in the public service for over 30 years and as diplomat for at least some eight years, serving in Indonesia and Japan.Mr Olmi is determined to change the image of the city and living standards of settlers and Motu Koitabu people.Ambassador Olmi made his intention known yesterday at a gathering hosted by his Chimbu people at six-mile in Port Moresby. He is contesting the N-C-D Seat as independent candidate.
